  • The Charity must be verified by Utherverse as a registered charity.
  • Event requester must also provide all pertinent information for the charity.

Divorces are an optional component to  Utherverse and are not required in order to get remarried in the event of a split from a previous marriage or to marry another member of Utherverse if you are currently involved in a marriage (i.e. multiple marriages).

How can I set my event into the Events Calendar?

The calendar is only to be used for the reservation and promotion of events ONLY.

What constitutes an Event?

When sending an event request please make sure the following details are included, or your request may be declined:

  • The date
  • The time
  • The name of the event
  • Is there a theme for the event?
  • Will there be a DJ(s)?
  • Will there be any games played where rays and or sponsor giveaways are the prize?
  • Will there be a costume contest where rays and or sponsor giveaways are the prize?

 How do I approve my venue?

 The venue approval  has to be done over the events calendar.

It is still your responsibility to contact the venue licensee and inquire about venue availability for the times you wish to host your event. The venue licensee may or may not charge a fee to host your event. All privately licensed venues are clearly marked on their exterior with a sign. All Utherverse public venues are free to use on a first come first served basis.

There is a ®1 venue application fee for events that do not occur in YOUR VWW property or Zaby. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee the venue licensee will respond to your inquiry. There is also a ®2 posting fee to post your event to the calendar as well as a ®1 fee for changing the following information: date, venue and time.

Your event will NOT appear in the Calendar if the venue licensee has not approved your event. Your event will NOT appear in the Calendar if there are any outstanding fees.
 

In order to approve a venue please follow these steps:

· Login with an account that owns a venue
· Go to your Events calendar page (http://www.utherverse.com/Events/)
· Click MANAGE YOUR EVENTS button at the very bottom
· On the opened page you will see a list of all your submitted events
· In the column VENUE click on PENDING
· On the opened page in the STATUS drop down menu choose APPROVED
· You can type a message for Event owner, Venue or Admin if you like, but this is optional
· Click Submit

Venues & Capacity
When choosing a venue please make sure that the venue will be able to accommodate a large number of attendees.
Events are not hosted in the following areas: Street areas, any VWW, the Bordello or the Welcome Center, Transport.
 
Should a venue's capacity be too low to host an event there (under 60) let us know to raise the capacity.

Being ME
 
It is NOT allowed to set any member on ignore that is streaming. We are the public faces of Utherverse and
 the Ambassadors are there to promote everything going on in Utherverse besides hosting Events.
Here you have to remain professional or switch to your personal account if you dont want to be a part of it.
 
Bulletins / Advertisement
 
The Ambassadors duties include hosting & supporting events, posting Bulletins and to spread the word out in world,

Please make announcements when new places and business open up on the street/alley/vv etc.
This was the original intention of this group.
 Inform people of what is open, what is new and what is available, in world & via additional Bulletins .
 Let people know about changes that are happening to the street, allies and all other places that are UV owned.

Please make at least 2 Bulletin posts per day. Do not exceed four per day as people dislike excessive spamming.

Slow dancing during events
 
Please refrain from slowdancing or other types of intimate actions during events.
We need to appear accessible to everyone as we are there to bring fun and info into the world
and should make everyone feel comfortable contacting us.

Please make sure the events don’t run over 2 hours in length.
 
Mention the Sponsors of each event as often as possible.

Who can win and who cant
 
In the event that a winners profile settings make it impossible to friend / contact him for the Sponsor and also Ambassadors,
 the prize expires and can not be claimed later.
 
Please include in your mail to the winner that the Sponsor will send a friend request if the profile is set to friends only
 and they have to friend the Sponsor to get their win or it expires.
Staff, Ambassadors (in badge or personal), other Volunteers in badge and
 Event DJs (exception is the Volunteer party) can not win.
Regarding the Volunteer Party we ask that all attend in their personal accounts except the hosting Ambassador(s).
All Ambassadors except the hosting one are eligible to wi at the Volunteer Party as are all other Vounteers.

* As the Basic members start pm'n you, copy/paste thier name and # into notepad You will need everybody's name and # for this instance. Plus some members like pm'n ya back to ask you what thier number was, or to try and give another #.
One number only is how this one is played

** example: the person who guessed your # exactly, is on the winners list, therefore you then have to change your # to reflect another Basic who's name isnt on the winners list. In this case I usually go to next closest,
or I scan the profiles of the basics and pick the newest one.

* After you have written down or copy/pasted name and #, pm back a simple TY...this lets them know

 It starts at the beginning of the Event and goes until someone gets it. Every some minutes  a "clue" about this person will be told in local. The clues start out vague, "I was born in 1958" and gradually become more detailed. For example:

How to run the trivia contest

* When doing trivia you must think up 10 questions that are Utherverse related to ask in local.
Also a list of questions can be found on sect v
Keep in mind these questions are geared at the basics and newer
members we are helping to learn the game.Ya want to be careful in the wording of these
questions, as some may have more than one way, or answer. Trust me, simple is the way to
go when this fast paced contest gets going. Ya dont want to make a question whos answer
could start any kind of debate Have fun, be creative in the question, or even how
you deliever it, change it up a lil, that makes it fun and interesting. In the past they have
been asked in jeopardy style, word scramble, straight out, fill in the blank. All fun ways!
Always follow up the question with a short detail, or explanation, url's are great to:)

Okay lets' see if you can understand the gibberish!! The one with the highest score wins!
 
URBAN DICTIONARY
 
I give you a word...
which isn't a real word so no need for googles peeps...and you give me the most funniest or
nawtiest definition in local. Best one will go into my blog for the Ambassador's Dictionary and
plus win you some rays!

(for this...you make up a word....such as FLUGGERNUGGET or NOOGIEBOOBIE....
not a real word but have a laugh when others give you their definitions!)
 
Square Dance Contest
 
Build Teams of 3-4 Dancers and an uneven number of Judges.
All have 5 minutes to dance and the best synchrone dancing Team wins 10 rays each.
 
I Spy
 
Object...the member tries to guess what Ambassador has given a clue too.
Example: .Ambassador: I spy with my little eye....something that is square
 - the members guess and whoever gets it right wins
 
 
Word Association
 
Ambassador says a word...member who gets what Ambassador has in mind...highest amount of wins gets rays

Example: Ambassador: Red Members answers... Fire, Ball, Candy
Ambassador has Fire for their answer so member with Fire wins
 
what's yours like
you give a descripstion of something you own, do, or pretty much anything you can think of example your car, shirt, attitude, cat anything really : then people guess what it is
 you can play this game however you feel suited to the situation, such as:
10 rounds each winner counts as a point. or 5 rounds each winner wins 2 rays if the payout is 10 rays
 if you need a quick game the clues can be super easy if a longer game is suited the clues get harder
 
Dont even go there
Comes with 4 clues that you give out one at a time until they guess the answer. I do find that if you do this game you pick the hardest first.

Treasure Hunts
 
If you plan a simple Treasure Hunt  such as a wordscramble ect, finding the word alone isnt enough! There will be quick members who can think of a word within 5 minutes with just a few letters. That means you need to make it foolproof and add some more to it.

1. Find a loooong word or even 2 words
2. add Blank images to the hunt
3. Put it in the rules clearly what the task is: Find all letters and figure out the 1 or 2 or 3 words
4. Add in that they need to also need to find ALL images and tell you how many images were hidden  and / or the places were they found something
5. Only if all parts are solved correctly they can win
6. Set a time at start in which the Hunt must be solved and explain if no one found the solution at the end time, the one(s) with the most found letters (words) and images wins.

It is important to explain all that clearly at start to avoid unhappiness.

over will win free rent on a proptery they own now, or can get one for free with a months
paid rent to try out. Go to my blogs and copy the free rent from mine and place it in your
blogs, or tell them the list of properties they can win rent on for a month is in my blogs.
The reason we do this is the list is really long lol Its easier to direct them to the list.

* As the members start pm'n you, write down, or copy/paste thier name and # into notepad
its best to do it this way as the one closest to your # may not end up being the winner. So

The Pick N Win Board
 
Random Door Prizes
 
Please announce the Pick N Win board clearly as random Door prizes and not as game to avoid any misunderstandings.
All Sponsor prizes will be given out over the board
 
The chance is same for everyone to win - it also avoids the controlling of the winner sheets during the event.
 
Rules
 
1. Choose an available number within the first hour of the event -
the range will be announced in gen chat
2. All numbers can only be chosen once
3. Tell your choice in gen chat -
if your number isnt available you will be notified
4. Check the board to see if you won today at the end of the event
 
Hosting with the Prize board - Internals
 
All members that attend can choose a number within the first hour -
The Team would announce to all in gen chat the range of numbers people can choose from what will be during the regular events probably 1-44
 
One teammie will be responsible to catch all numbers people choose from gen chat copy and pasting into notepad and focus in main on that. Should you discover that one number has already been chosen, please announce also in gen chat that the number XY isnt available anymore and let them choose a different number.
 
After one hour the board is closed and no more numbers will be given out - this gives nearly another hour to assure that all numbers are listed on the notepad and to fix should some have the same number.
 
About 15 minutes before the event ends you will be given the numbers that do have prizes and open the board.
Then you announce that all can go and check their number to see if they won a door prize. Same time you can look at your notepad to find quickly who has chosen the numbers that contain a prize and then announcing the winners in gen chat.
 
Afterwards I get the report including the notepad with all names and numbers people have chosen andn the names of the winners and the prints with the notifications for Sponsors / Winners.
 
We will have a winners sheet just to see how it works and if that way more different people win -
but that sheet is not to control anymore during the games what makes all easier.

Hi Everyone ....we are about to start our Pick N Win random doorprize giveaway! Here's how you play....

Pick a number in the range 1-44 and post it in local chat. Only one number per person please. If your number isn't available then you will be notified for you
to choose another. At the end of the event the board will be opened up so you can check your number to see if you've won....good luck!!

--The board is open for 1 hour then it is closed
--Just before closing please announce that this is last call for numbers. These numbers are to be copy and pasted to a notepad. (keep saving this page incase of booting)
--Every so often copy the list and post it in local chat so others can see the numbers that are taken
--RegineUV will give you the numbers and the item that goes with it about 15 minutes before the end of event. At this time write up the 3 or 4 lines you will need to announce the winners
at the end of event ex: Congrats (member) ! You have won an (item) from (sponsor) with your lucky (number)
--You announce in local the board is open and for them to check their numbers (post the list one more time so peeps can refresh what they picked)
--At end of event you post all the winners in local (some members may have already left but they still need to go in local)
--TO MAIL IN.....the notepad containing all the members and numbers along with the names of all winners, their number, and what they won (include on this notepad)
ex: JohnDoe (Angieq) 33....this gets sent right at end of event to Lippy to update winners sheet

Usually the one who does numbers ....the other does emails....and when doing the emails announce in local to make sure that all winners are added to your friends list etc...so it saves time
incase you might have to chase them down :)
