UTHERVERSE FUND RAISERS/CHARITY POLICIES

Due to the overwhelming amount of requests for assistance with fundraising efforts within Utherverse, the following procedures/polices have been implemented.  If you would like the assistance of Utherverse in hosting/holding an event to support a charity or fundraiser please email events@utherverse.com a detailed proposal 4-6 weeks prior to the event date.  Users must understand that Utherverse will ONLY assist and not host or throw the event on your behalf. 100% of the proceeds MUST also go to the charity if Utherverse is to be involved in assisting with your event. We DO NOT engage in the splitting of percentages between charities, charity organizers, volunteers or users.

Fundraisers are restricted to one Fundraiser per month. All Fundraisers have to use exclusively the UVDonates Profile.

Before requesting for assistance from Utherverse for your fundraising event, the charity you want to donate to must have the following qualifications:

• It must be a reputable, registered charity that can issue tax receipts.
• The Charity must be verified by Utherverse as a registered charity.
• Event requester must also provide all pertinent information for the charity.

 Level 1

**Due to limited resources, Level 1 assistance is restricted to a maximum of 3 times per year during the following periods: Jan-April, May-Aug, or Sep-Dec.  Fundraising for International Natural Disasters may take precedence over other causes, should a disaster fall during a specified time period. The Events Team however, will continuously welcome suggestions for charitable causes for consideration throughout the year. **

 Promotional use of the UVDonates profile to help spread the word about the charity/event

• Users can send donations to this profile which will be managed in house by Utherverse Staff.

Full support of Events Team and staff. Teams will circulate bulletins and promote event at regular events (i.e. regular tweets, forum posting, bulletins) Attendance by team members for actual event will be mandatory.

Free Street Advertising in 3 main ad centers (ex. located on the transport wall, and Century Theater walls in RLC).

Domain Broadcast day of event and in the days leading up to event (case dependant).

Creation of web gift to send to all donors.

Message of the day on login screen for the virtual world.

Booking of VWW of the day (dependent upon availability).

Some assistance in prop editing (case dependant).

Assistance and guidance on approaching sponsors.

Assistance with creative (posters, graphics) within and dependant on available resources.

Utherverse will receive rays and exchange them at the marketplace. We will then issue an official letter to the charity notifying them of the donation. All correspondence with charities will be transparent.

 Level 2

**Due to limited resources, Level 2 assistance is restricted to once per month to a maximum of 6 times per year**

 All Donations must be made using the UVDonates Profile, which will be updated with the cause of the Fundraiser.

 Level 3

Independent Fundraisers have to explicitly state this is not an Utherverse sponsored Fundraiser.

 If there is another similar charity event around the time of your independent event, the official event will take precedence.
