RedLightCenter.com Virtually Premieres Twisted Twins’ Dead Hooker in a Trunk
Independent Film Guest Starring Actor/Filmmaker Carlos Gallardo Premieres at Virtual World Theater; Follows Physical Opening in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, BC – October 30th, 2008 – Utherverse, Inc., developer of virtual worlds RedLightCenter.com and Virtual-Vancouver.com, today announced that the new indie film Dead Hooker in a Trunk will make its virtual premiere this Friday, October 31 at noon PT at RedLightCenter.com’s Century Theater One. The directorial debut of Jen and Sylvia Soska of Twisted Twin Productions, which premiered physically in Vancouver a week ago, guest stars actor/filmmaker Carlos Gallardo (of El Mariachi fame).

RedLightCenter.com will host the film’s screening free of charge to members as part of its Halloween weekend celebration.

“The enormous capacity of RedLightCenter’s virtual space allows more people to attend the opening than in a typical movie theater space,” commented RedLightCenter.com co-founder and CEO Brian Shuster. “In virtual worlds like RLC, viewers never have to worry about a show selling out. We can present innovative movies like Dead Hooker in a Trunk to an enormous audience this way.”

Dead Hooker in a Trunk stars Jen & Sylvia Soska, Rikki Gagne, CJ Wallis, John Tench, David Barkes, and more. After discovering the body of a dead hooker in the trunk of their car, an eclectic group of Vancouver friends encounter police, drug dealers, serial killers and the Devil himself on their quest to find out where the body came from.

RLC’s Century Theater One will be showcasing the movie every six hours following the premiere in honor of Halloween weekend, concluding with the final showing at midnight PT on Monday, November 3.
