It is a large-scale Windows based outer network. We require an admin monitor our server progress and take it in new directions. 24 hour on call availability is required as our product is real-time and requires max up time. Also included is to maintain our existing network infrastructure and to plan for and implement expansion of that infrastructure to support our business needs. At least 5 years experience working with MS Windows Server OS, the IIS / ASP.NET web platform, and Cisco networking products is required. The majority of the position’s day-to-day responsibilities involve configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of our public content distribution network that supports our web presence and 3D world system. As such, a solid understanding of current internet technologies, database systems and streaming media technologies, as well as an ability to design and implement pro-active security measures against real-world internet based threats, is essential. A successful applicant must be comfortable working with all aspects of network security including assigning permissions, setting up user accounts, configuring router firewalls and VPN security, as well as active directory configuration and maintenance.
